A hand's width of clearance beneath the keel at all times: That's what we want for the successful 'Murtfeldt' sailing team. For two years, Murtfeldt Kunststoffe has been supporting the successful sailing team of Murtfeldt employees Lars and Andre Teutenberg. The five-man team consists of Andre Teutenberg, Jan-Pit Teutenberg, Lars Teutenberg, Jens Wehrenbrecht, and Sven Wehrenbrecht, and sails for the Warmel-Möhnesee Yacht Club. The team enjoyed numerous successes in 2008.
Part of their success must surely be down to their new Platu 25 yacht, which was christened the 'Murtfeldt' by Detlev Höhner, CEO of Murtfeldt Kunststoffe, in a traditional naming ceremony at the start of 2008.
The team has now thrown itself enthusiastically into the start of the 2009 season. For example, they and their 25-foot yacht achieved 5th place in the Bunny Cup on Lake Wannsee in Berlin. The team already has plans to take part in further regattas. For more information, click the link below.
