Smooth Running
Any combination of food and lubricants tends to be either unappetising or very expensive. Even lubricants approved for food contact can form an extremely unhygienic environment by attracting adhering substances in dusty particles. By con-trast, the lubricant is incorporated in our Material ”S”®plus+ OIL, so no dust particles can adhere to the surface. Nevertheless, the positive effect of this oil filling – an improved coefficient of friction – is significant.
Material ”S”®plus+ OIL guarantees excellent sliding properties. The oil contained in the material virtually
precludes the development of stick-slip and thus of noise, e.g. squeaking. “S”®plus+ OIL does not absorb any moisture and, despite its oil filling, it can be used in direct contact with food.
