Industrial applications are often subject to high temperatures at which Original Material "S"® could previously not be used.
Such applications require materials with familiar characteristics such as wear, impact, and chemical resistance. The new Original Material "S"® plus+ TLS now offers - for the first time - a material that can be used in situations for which Original Material "S"® was not suited. Even at high operating temperatures of up to120°C for short periods of time and constant service temperatures of up to100°C, the molecular structure of this ultra-high molecular weight low-density polyethylene does not change. This is because the thermal oxidation point has been increased through the use of a newly developed additive. "S"®plus+ TLS is thus suitable for a wide range of industrial applications that are subject to sustained high temperatures.
