Material
We use our tried-and-tested Original Material "S"® Black Antistatic for the ball-bearing supported tensioning roller that is attached to the housing. It is characterized by its excellent wear resistance, ideal slide properties, and very good resistance to chemicals.
Design
Our standard tensioning rollers are supplied with a cylindrical surface or a profile of your choice. Use the profile shape table to specify the required profile along with the belt type used when you make your order.

Round belts, V-belts as per DIN 2215, or flat belts – they all require different pre-tensioning. The following Spann-Box®/Spann-Boy® types are available as belt tensioners:
