Welcome to the 'Online help' area. You can use this area to gain an overview of our Website and to familiarize yourself with practical tools. 1. Graphical structure of site

Four clearly-structured page areas with a variety of content

As shown in the graphic, our Web pages are divided into four distinct areas with a traditional structure. Starting with the header bar and continuing through to the footer, these areas contain all of the elements you need to navigate our Website. Our exceptional page navigation column (see 1.3) allows you to navigate quickly through the various sub-menus.

1.1 Header bar

In addition to the top-level navigation bar - which you use to navigate to the various content sections at a click of the mouse - the header bar also contains the news ticker. Our news ticker constantly supplies you with the most up-to-date information on Murtfeldt. You can also log in here to enter our password-protected area. The language selection function is also located here, on the same level as the top-level navigation bar and log-in function.

1.2 Content area

The content area is used to provide you with all relevant information on our company and products. It encompasses the left-hand and central column and can contain text, images, graphics, forms, and information that is highlighted in colour. On some pages, important information is also offered for download in the form of PDF files.

1.3 Page navigation column

The page navigation column is a high-level screen area that relates to the content areas. It is located on the far right of the screen and contains useful functional elements. These elements provide users with information and help them to find their way around the current page or to navigate to a related page.

1.4 Footer bar

The footer bar at the end of each page also contains various functions. It allows users to jump back to the top of the page or navigate to the home page or 'Contact us' area and contains a link to the site map, which gives you an overview of the content of this Website. In addition, the footer bar contains links to our general terms and conditions and imprint.

2. Content structure of site

All relevant information in two main sections

These two sections provide information on two of the most important topics on this site: The company and its products.

The main aim is to give the user an overview of everything he or she needs to know so that specific information can be called up quickly and easily. These sections contain all relevant data and information on the company, ranging from the history of the company from its foundation through to detailed descriptions of product features.

2.1 Company area

The company area incorporates the 'News', 'Company', 'Services', 'Press', and 'Contact us' pages. It provides information on all important topics relating to Murtfeldt GmbH & Co. KG. In addition to info content on our company, this area also contains current reports on plastic, various functions for contacting us, and a wide range of service offerings such as press releases and printable image material for download.

2.2 Products area

We use the 'Products' area to present all Murtfeldt products in detail, describing their characteristic properties using our own product pictograms. Like in our 'Solutions in plastics' catalogue, the pictograms contain the article numbers, dimensions, sizes, variants, and properties of all standard products. You can also find information on custom options and the best choice of material here.

The product categories are distinguished by the colours indicated in the brackets. The colour coding is used to indicate which pages belong to each category, thus helping you to find the information you need.

3. The page navigation column

Efficient use of the page navigation column

The page navigation column is logically superordinate to the content columns. Its elements aim to provide users with support relating to the current page. It has various different functions: product search, info cockpit, tips, and links to related pages.

3.1 The memo board

The memo board is a digital notepad. You can use it to record anything you find important. You can send us an inquiry on the articles you have noted down on your memo board and can collect files for download there. Users who are logged on can save the content of their memo board to their profile for use later on. The page navigation column provides a preview of articles and downloads you have added to your memo board. This means that nothing gets lost and you can read your notes again at a later point in time.

3.2 The product search function

The search function allows you to search by article number. If you enter a complete and correct article number and then start the search, the system finds the article that matches your search string. You are taken automatically to the page on the product in question. This page contains a product description, list of all variants, all further product articles, and all downloads about the product in question. This function allows you to easily find whichever article you're looking for.

3.3 Additional information and tips

The page navigation column also contains important contextual information and tips. They help you to find your way around the site. Relevant information on the page content is displayed here so that you can see it at a glance.

3.4 Useful help texts

Help texts make it easier for you to use the information we provide. They contain explanations on various topics such as the prerequisites for downloading a PDF file.

4. Link to the Murtfeldt CAD portal

Discover New Aspects

The Murtfeldt CAD portal offers the Murtfeldt products in form of 2D and 3D data for simple and quick download. It supports all prevalent CAD systems. Which are the products with CAD data? After the article number, in the product tables is a cube symbol which is linked to the Murtfeldt CAD portal.

4.1 The Murtfeldt CAD-Portal

Quite simply download the CAD data:

  • The visitor selects the desired product group and clicks on the CAD button. The product is displayed in detail.
  • Next he selects 2D or 3D views or the individual configuration from the provided menus.
  • The required data can be saved for download using the disk symbol.
  • Finally, the buffered data can be downloaded via the "Download Centre" menu.
